Hydraulic cutting machines are core equipment for processes such as veneer processing, plate cutting, and thin film slitting. Prolonged high-load operation tends to cause problems including unstable pressure, cutting deviations, oil leakage, and jamming. Proper maintenance of hydraulic cutting machines ensures stable cutting accuracy, reduces failure frequency, and effectively extends service life.

Daily maintenance of hydraulic cutting machines starts with thorough cleaning. After each operation, promptly remove wood chips, dust, and debris from the worktable, tool rest, and guide rails to keep the equipment clean and prevent impurities from entering the hydraulic system or guide rails, which may cause wear and jamming.

The hydraulic system is a key maintenance area. Regularly check the hydraulic oil level, quality, and temperature. If the hydraulic oil becomes emulsified, darkened, or contaminated with excessive impurities, replace it in a timely manner. Meanwhile, clean or replace the filter element to ensure smooth oil flow, prevent damage to the oil pump and oil cylinder, and maintain stable cutting pressure.

Guide rails and transmission components require regular lubrication. Use special lubricating oil to maintain precision parts such as HIWIN guide rails and TBI precision ball screws on schedule, reducing friction and wear, ensuring stable feeding and accurate cutting dimensions, and avoiding abnormal noise, vibration, or feeding deviation.

Blades and tool rests should be inspected and ground regularly. Clean glue residue and wood chips adhered to the blades in a timely manner, check for dullness or chipping, and regularly regrind or replace Taiwan manganese steel blades to ensure flat, burr-free cutting edges, improving product quality and processing efficiency.

Electrical and control systems also need maintenance. Regularly inspect the PLC, servo motors, wiring connectors, and sensors to ensure normal display on the operation panel and stable switching between automatic and manual modes, avoiding downtime caused by electrical faults that affect production schedules.

Proper daily maintenance of hydraulic cutting machines keeps the equipment running efficiently and stably for a long time, reducing maintenance costs and downtime. A standardized maintenance process is an important foundation for ensuring cutting accuracy and production efficiency for veneers, plates, and other materials.
