1. Verify that the number of joints on the product cross-section matches the number you have connected.
2. Adjust the EPC device according to the characteristics of the semi-finished product to ensure the EPC photoelectric sensor tracks the line. Manually hold one end of the film and slowly start the slitter to guide the film into normal operation.
3. Press the stop button to halt the machine. When unloading the roll, keep hands away from the take-up shaft to prevent fingers from being pinched.
4. Start the machine at low speed to observe if the slit film meets quality requirements. Gradually accelerate to begin slitting. Never place hands inside the slitter while the machine is running to prevent hand injuries. 5. Open the raw material holder to the appropriate width. Place the semi-finished film roll to be slit onto the holder. Keep hands away from the film roll's cut edge during loading. Do not operate with two people simultaneously to avoid hand injuries from the cylinder.
6. Center the photoelectric sensor to ensure the slider on the unwind table remains properly aligned with the guide roller.
7. Insert a standard-sized paper core onto the take-up shaft. Guide the cut product onto the paper cores of the upper and lower take-up shafts using standard methods. Start the machine at low speed to locate the optimal position for the paper core on the take-up shaft. Mark this position for future reference. When installing cores, firmly grip the core surface to prevent slipping and injury from the shaft.
8. Guide the slit film onto the take-up shaft per operating requirements. No blades should be present on the hot melt laminator during film threading to avoid cuts.
9. Install the slitting blade holder to the correct position as specified on the work order. Secure the lower blade, then start the machine at low speed to cut the semi-finished product to the required specifications.
10. Turn on the slitter power supply. Set the take-up/unwind tension, automatic counter stop count, material thickness, and other parameters according to the work order requirements. Once all settings are complete, activate the photoelectric sensor.
