In the processing of board base materials, the splicing of scattered small wood chips and thin slices has long been a production challenge. The customer specializes in the production of flooring base materials and decorative panel base materials, which are made by splicing thin wood chips into large boards. The workshop aimed to improve the automation level of the entire splicing process, cut down equipment commissioning time and ensure consistent and stable material output.

Combined with the customer’s wood chip thickness and incoming material specifications, the technical team of Jurui recommended straight-type thin veneer splicing machines matched with supporting hydraulic cutting machines to realize integrated operations of cutting and thin veneer splicing. Optimized feeding structure designed for thin veneer materials reduces the breakage risk of thin wood chips, delivering stable dimensional splicing accuracy and strong continuous operation stability while eliminating repeated manual parameter adjustments. After equipment delivery, installation and commissioning were completed. Technicians provided on-site training for workshop staff on equipment operation, routine maintenance and simple troubleshooting.

After the production line renovation, the continuity of the thin veneer splicing process was greatly improved. Defects such as material breakage and misalignment were reduced, and the single-shift production capacity increased. Simple equipment commissioning lessens the workload of workshop operators and shortens production line downtime, ensuring stable delivery of board orders.
